In this setting you will add the detailed information of your car.
Section Title
This setting refers to the Car Info Section Title.
Set car as featured
This section allows you to enter custom text that appears alongside the featured tour on the search results and archive page. It provides an opportunity to highlight the car rental’s unique selling points and grab user attention.Â
- On:Â Selecting this option will mark the car rental as featured.
- Off:Â Selecting this option will remove the featured designation from the car rental
No. of Passengers
This setting allows you to specify the number of passengers a car can accommodate. For instance, if you are adding a sedan that holds a maximum of four passengers without the driver and five passengers in total, enter “4” if the âDriver Includedâ option is turned on. If the âDriver Includedâ option is turned off, enter “5” Note that this option is essential for search functionality, so use it carefully to ensure accurate search results. We will cover the âDriver Includedâ option in detail later.
No. of Baggages
This setting lets you specify the number of bags allowed per car, helping set clear luggage expectations for passengers.
Auto Transmission
This selection specifies the type of transmission in the vehicle. If enabled, it will display âAutoâ on the front end. If disabled, it will also show âAutoâ (please double-check this setting to ensure the correct transmission type displays).
Select Brands/Make
This allows you to assign the car’s brand or make. If you have brands already added under Dashboard > Car Rental > Brand Make, you can select them here. You can also add a new brand on the go using the âAdd Newâ button. Also, please note it is one of our taxonomy fields, so you can get a frontend view of it.Â
Here are my settings.
There are additional taxonomy fields, such as “Select Fuel Type” and “Select Year.” These options allow you to choose details like the fuel type of your car (e.g., petrol, diesel) and the year it was manufactured. For example, if you have a Toyota Premio that runs on diesel and was manufactured in 2021, you would select “Diesel” for fuel type and “2021” for the year. Also, you can add your Fuel type and year on the go using the âAdd new buttonâ.
Shuttle to Car
This option lets you specify whether youâll be picking up your client from their location and transporting them to the carâs pickup point via shuttle. If you enable this option, a new field called “Price Type” will appear. This field allows you to set the shuttle service as either free/complementary or add a price for it.
Fuel Condition
This option allows you to specify the car’s fuel condition before the client picks it up and after they return it. For instance, if the car has a “full tank” at pickup, you can set the requirement for the client to return it with a “full tank” as well. You can enter “full to full” in the fuel condition text box, or customize it based on your business needs.
Unlimited Mileage
This setting indicates the maximum mileage allowed for each booking. With “Unlimited Mileage,” the person who booked the car can drive as much as they want during the rental period, without mileage limits or extra fees. Disabling this option reveals two new fields: “Unit Type” and “Mileage.” Here, you can specify the mileage unit, such as kilometers or miles, and add a number value like “100” to set a specific mileage limit if desired.
Here are my finalized settings after inputting all the necessary information.
Add More Information (Pro)
