Tour Setting – > Availability
Tour availability settings are essential for managing when and how your tour packages are accessible for booking. These settings allow you to define specific dates, times, and conditions for booking tours.
Here are the two available options for you to choose from in the backend.
Continuous
Continuous indicates that the tour package is available for booking every month within a specified date range. This is suitable for tours that operate consistently throughout the year, such as city tours or historical site visits.
- Minimum Person (Required for Search): Set a minimum number of people required to search for this tour. This helps users understand if their group size meets the tour requirements upfront. It prevents them from searching for tours that cannot accommodate them.
- Maximum Person (Required for Search): Indicate the maximum number of people who can search for this tour, preventing users from searching for tours that cannot accommodate their large group. This can be helpful for tours with limited space or resources.
- Maximum Capacity: Define the maximum number of people (including adults and children) allowed on the tour per day.
Here are the text fields in the backend.
Allowed Time
Choose the time of day when bookings for this tour are available within the specified date period. This allows you to set specific time slots for customers to book the tour. You can add multiple time slots to accommodate different preferences.

Choose the time of day when bookings for this tour are available within the specified date period.
Maximum Capacity
Indicate the maximum number of people (including adults and children) allowed per day for this tour during the specified time period.
Also, use the “Add New Time” button to add multiple time slots.
Select the day to disable
Choose specific days of the week when the tour is unavailable (e.g., Sundays). This is useful for tours that require closure on certain days for maintenance or staff breaks.
Disable Date Range
Define custom date ranges where the tour is unavailable. You can add multiple date ranges for extended closures due to holidays, seasonal events, or unforeseen circumstances. Use “Start Date” and “End Date” to define the period.
Disable Specific Dates
Select specific dates where the tour is unavailable for booking. This allows you to block out individual dates for private bookings, maintenance, or other reasons.
Custom Availability
For more intricate control over booking options, enable the “Custom Availability” section. This allows you to define specific rules beyond the basic Tour Type selection. Disabling “Custom Availability” uses the settings under the simpler “Availability” section.
Toggling this option to “On” will provide you with the following options––
Pricing rule
- Per Person: Price is set for each individual participant (adult, child, infant). This offers you with control over pricing based on participant demographics, allowing you to charge different rates for adults, children, or infants.
- Per Group: Price is set for the entire group, regardless of the number of participants. This simplifies pricing but offers less flexibility and may not be suitable for tours with significant variations in group size.
Allowed Dates
Define the date range when this tour will be available for booking.
- Start Date: Select the date on which the tour becomes available for booking.
- End Date: Select the date after which the tour is no longer available for booking.
Minimum Person
Specify the minimum number of persons required to book this tour. Customers must meet this minimum requirement to make a booking.
Maximum Person
Indicate the maximum number of persons this package can be booked for.
Price for Adult/Child/Infant
Enter the price for each participant type (adult, child, infant) within the text field.
Maximum Capacity
This indicates the maximum number of people (including adults and children) allowed per day for this tour.
This helps prevent overbooking and ensures that you can provide a high-quality experience for all participants. Once this capacity is reached, the tour will no longer be available for booking on that day.
You’ll need to enter the required information regarding Minimum Person, Maximum Person, Price for Adult/ Child/ Infant, and Maximum Capacity here in the backend.
Fixed
Choose this option if your tour has specific dates (or a single date) available for booking. This is ideal for seasonal tours like whale-watching excursions or events with limited availability, such as cultural festivals or concerts.
Availability
Define the date range when this tour will be available for booking.
- Start Date: Select the date on which the tour becomes available for booking.
- End Date: Select the date after which the tour is no longer available for booking.
Minimum Person
Specify the minimum number of persons required to book this tour. Customers must meet this minimum requirement to make a booking.
Maximum Person
Indicate the maximum number of persons this package can be booked for.
Maximum Capacity
This indicates the maximum number of people (including adults and children) allowed per day for this tour.

Enable Repeat by Months
Enable this option if you want to repeat fixed tours by months in one calendar year. It allows you to set up the tour once and have it automatically repeated on the specified months.
Repeat Fixed Tours
Select the months you want to repeat the tour. This allows you to specify which months the tour will be available for booking. You can select multiple months to create a recurring schedule for the tour, ensuring that it is available during the months you choose.
Toggling the Repeat Month button to “On” will bring forth the Repeat Fixed Tours Options. The particular tour you set on repeat mode, will start from the month you select and keep repeating from the next month unless you stop it.
