WooCommerce is one of the best plugins for managing orders and payment gateways. If you prefer to use payment gateways other than PayPal and Stripe, WooCommerce is an excellent option to consider.
In this article, we’ll explore how to use WooCommerce with Hydra Booking to manage payments effectively.

How to Integrate Woo Payment with Hydra Booking?
Step 1: Configure WooCommerce and Add Products
First of all you need to install and activate the WooCommerce plugin. activation, follow the WooCommerce setup wizard to configure essential settings such as currency, payment gateways, and shipping options.
After filling in all the required information, the next step is to add a product. This product will be purchased by attendees when booking a new meeting. It will serve as the payment method through WooCommerce and is required for the integration to function properly. For each meeting or appointment you offer, create a corresponding product in WooCommerce:
- Navigate to Products > Add New.
- Enter the product name, description, and set the price.
- In the Product Data section, configure any additional settings relevant to the meeting.
- After filling up all the data, click on “Publish” to publish the product for purchase.
Here I’ve created my product according to the meeting.
Step 2: Configure Hydra Booking Settings
After creating the product, navigate to Hydra Booking > Settings > Integration and toggle the button to enable WooCommerce.
Step 3: Configure the Meeting with WooCommerce Products
After enabling WooCommerce from the settings, navigate to Hydra Booking > Meetings. Select your desired meeting and click Edit to modify the meeting details.
Once the page loads, navigate to the Payment tab and toggle the button to enable Payment for this Meeting.
After enabling the toggle button, you’ll see an option called Payment Method. From the dropdown menu, select WooCommerce.
After selecting WooCommerce, an option called Select Product will appear. From here, choose the product you want to associate with the meeting.
I’m selecting the product I created earlier for this meeting.
Now, click the Save & Finish button to finalize the setup.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully connected WooCommerce with the Hydra Booking system. You can now use WooCommerce to manage payments and take advantage of additional payment gateways supported by WooCommerce.
Testing the WooCommerce Integration
Once every step is set up correctly, whenever an attendee tries to book your meeting, they will be redirected to the WooCommerce checkout page for payment.
